NOISE CONTROL LEADER AT HEVAR SHOW, MANCHESTER UNITED FOOTBALL GROUND, 18-19 APRIL 2007
IAC Limited, a global leader in noise attenuation for HVAC applications, will be exhibiting at the HEVAR show at the Manchester United Football Club on 18-19 April 2007.
With over 50 years’ experience IAC offers a complete range of Building Services noise control products and systems, all with proven performance and complying with EU and world standards. IAC has also provided HVAC noise control to the ManU Stadium – the host of HEVAR this year.
Visitors to Stand C8 at the Show will be able to find information on two recent additions to IAC’s silencers range: the Zero-Added Pressure Drop Silencer (ZAPD) and the Ultra Low Silencer.
- The ZAPD Silencer incorporates splitters positioned outside the air flow so maintaining the duct cross section. This significantly reduces the energy requirement of fans in the system and offers specifiers a green option.
- The Ultra-Low Silencer are an ideal solution for low frequency noise problems where 3rd octave band analysis identifies noise emissions with bandwidth as low as 25 HZ.

IAC’s range of over 30 designs of rectangular and cylindrical duct silencers provides effective, predictable noise reduction at substantial savings over other methods because all models are laboratory-developed and tested under controlled conditions. They are manufactured to specific metal tolerances and with controlled acoustic infill flow resistances to achieve consistent results. The ranges include: Natural Ventilation; Acoustic Louvres; Acoustic Screens; AHUs; Absorptive panels; Duct Silencers; Floating Floors, and Vibration Isolation.
IAC’s client groups include commercial buildings, retail outlets, theatres, airport terminals (e.g. Heathrow’s Terminal 5) and we are also one of Europe’s specialists in sporting facilities. We have provided noise control for many of the UK’s top football stadia including Manchester United FC, Arsenal and the new Wembley stadium, and numerous other sporting facilities such as velodromes and swimming pools around the UK.
Preferred partner to many of the UK’s HVAC contractors and construction companies, IAC enjoys a good reputation for products that ‘really work’ and for being a company that goes the extra mile.
IAC engineers will be available on Stand C8 at HEVAR and will be pleased to answer any queries that visitors may have on HVAC-related noise problems.
